Trip to Tioman Island

Day 1( Part 1 )
* gets down from the ferry * <~ carmen, qui nee, canna, hadrian.
Me: Wahlau, the water is so clear and nice man..
QuiNee: Yeah lor. So nice.
Me: So, when are we getting to the sea again?
Canna: Err, after we go get some bread for the tuna lar. Rite, Hadrian?
Hadrian: * jokes sarcasticly * No need lar let me sleep first. Let her suffer for awhile.
Me: * rolls my eyes * whatever lar i and qui nee go alone lar.
QuiNee: Har??? I dunno how to swim leh.
Me: Then float lar. Wont die one.
QuiNee: * sweats * Dunno how to float.
Me: Then urm sink lar.
QuiNee: * multiple sweats *

So we went across the bridge looking for transport to the resort. Then, we struck gold. We were the one and only ones we got there in time to fit into the bus. Something like lorry that is. It is not enclosed, dirty and hot. Not to mention impossibly uncomfortable. Everywhere we turn its either duty free stores or its restaurants. Anyway, calling them restaurants is certainly an overestimation. Its like one of those fake looking mamak-like shops with plastic chairs. Well, widen ur imagination to see it. Even so, there was something that impressed me in this tiny island. The flats in this place had more ASTRO satellites than my entire neighborhood put together.
' Welcome to Berjaya Hotel & Resort of Pulau Tioman '. The bus drove us right to the lobby. Another luck test..... Bingo! We got checked in early. * Drumrolls * Why? Because they say five star hotel mar. * Keys jingle and twists = bolt unlocked *. *Gaps*. Well, not exactly the five star you get in KL. Its comfy at least and thank god, not haunted. * fingers crossed *.

Me: Canna jie jie? What time are we going to the beach again?
Canna: Err, we go eat first, then after we go get the bread, then see how lor.
Me: Ohh ok.
QuiNee: Eat where arh?
Hadrian: Erm, near the kampung area there where we came up just now.
Me: * stomach growls * Aiyo faster ler. Gastric later.
Canna: Okay lets go.

Then I ordered roti canai and milo kosong. F.Y.I. it sucked. Forget about food cause it not only tasted like **** it is so expensive. So yeah. We went bread hunting. You'd think it is easier to get bread considering it is a tourist area. Not. Every store we went in either does not sell bread or ran out of it. The most depressing thing is they had tons of fish bread. W.T.F????? That caused us to walk all the way down while my gastric annoys me to the max.
Then Hadrian had to continue to torture me by walking round and round some duty free shop to get an ideal liquor after the success of bread hunting. Worst still we had to hike all the wayh back up again.

Day 1( Part 2 )

QuiNee: Ouch!Ouch!Ouch! So banyak corals lar. Damn pain rite...
Me: Alahh, never mind lar just keep walking. Once its deeper then no more edi one larh.
QuiNee: Whatever.
Me: Okay, now start to float. Owh yea. You dont know how. Now do that sleeping pose. * Holds her back *. Slowly, I am letting go.
QuiNee: No need!!!
Me: * Sweat * Go deeper then. * Walks deeper * F***!!! QuiNee got thorns dont step on anything! Keep floating! * thorns poke right through into both my foot *. * Pushes QuiNee higher and thorns go further in *
QuiNee: Har? WTH? * Stop floating and steps * Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! * Tears keluar terus *
Me: Sweat man. Told you not to step... How now?
QuiNee: Call for help!!!
Me: Okay you call for Hadrian i call for Canna jie jie.
QuiNee: Help! Hadrian help! Carmen kena two foot. Sea urchines.
Canna & Hadrian : Urgent? Foot? What? Joking issit? * Carmen swims with one hand *
Canna: Eh something wrong lar. Carmen swimming with one hand. They not joking lar. * navigates through the stream of corals *.
Hadrian: Swim back here!
QuiNee: Cannot! Too pain. * Hops around with one foot *
Hadrian:Aiyoo, how now? * Panics
Canna: Go closer and try pull them back ler.

OMG!!!! Damn pain lar. Don't whack so hard lar! That was practically a revised phrase man. Because they don't want QuiNee and my foot to go bengkak so they decided the traditional way. Keep whacking those torns and make sure they are crushed and can be dissolved my the blood. In the process keep adding lime juice to make sure the thorns dissolves faster and hurt more. Just joking. Hahaha. So some fella came and help us and occasionally other staff came and help by whacking a few time then leaves. Then this guy came and asked us if kena ' bulu mata' ar ? Canna jie jie was like 'uh ye kut'. 'Tak tau nama benda tu lar'. * Guy comes and lifts our foot, sees then says ' Ye la, saya sendiri pun kena dulu, badan pulak tu'. ' Doktor Mat Salleh panggil saya letak cuka kerana tak boleh pukul sebab di belakang badan saya'. * ooh and aahs *
So he went with Hadrian to get the vinegar for us. Then another hour of whacking and soaking in vinegar.
P.S. QuiNee could have flooded the place with her tears despite Hadrian keep trying to distract us by telling us someone trying to make out in the sea. Sure, she laughs then she resumes to crying mode.

Day 1( Part 3 )

Dinner was satay and fried rice because QuiNee and I stayed at the hotel cause we were to tired and wanted to sleep. Owh yea, when we were alone at the hotel we went over to Canna and Hadrian's room for the tv ( they had better channels ). I called the housekeeping for ice cause we wanted to have vodka that night so yea. After the ice came there was another knock saying housekeeping again. QuiNee and I freaked. Didn't the housekeeper just came. So QuiNee the brave one went to the door and opened it. He said something bout a fruit basket so we said we didn't want it. Thinking it was over, he went to our room and knocked again so we just ignored him and left him there. Turned out he was just giving us apples. LAME. We only found out when Canna and Hadrian came back with our food and got freaked by three apples laid in front of our door. After we were stuffed with food, we started drinking vodka with coke. Forgot how it ended but we went to sleep after the drinks.

Okay i am done for the first day. Second and third day will come later. Tired edi. Such a long post and such a long day. Ciaw. Owh pictures will be later too. They're with Canna and Hadrian.
